Christina Aguilera confessed that she is ready to launch her acting career.  The dirty singer has spent some time on reading and understanding the Hollywood industry. She was reading scripts to find out the right role for herself.

  "I am looking forward to moving into another form of what I feel is another creative outlet for me and that would be acting,” said the 26-year-old singer at the press conference in Shangai, China. "It is something that, when I attempt to do it, I want to do it right so it's important for me that I do choose the right first role for myself,” she added.

  Christina is also talking about her next album apart from her film aspirations. She told that the new album would be somewhat different from her last double album “Back to Basics” inspired by the early soul music of the 1920s, '30s, and '40s, blues and jazz.  

  Christina Maria Aguilera born on December 18, 1980 became an American pop singer and songwriter. Her works (Reflection, her debut single, Christina Aguilera, 1999, Mi Reflejo, My Kind of Christmas, Stripped, 2002, Back to Basics, 2006) have earned numerous awards and also five Grammy Awards in sixteen nominations. She has sold about 30 million albums worldwide.

  In late 2002, Aguilera began dating music marketing executive Jordan Bratman. Their engagement was announced in February 2005, and they married on November 19, 2005, in the Napa Valley. The couple celebrated their one year anniversary in Dublin, Ireland where she was on tour at the time. They are currently rumored to be expecting their first child.
